Privacy Policy

1. Controller. Volari is an independent, founder-operated service. Contact for all privacy matters: contact@flyvolari.com.

2. What we collect. Your account email; the trip details you enter (flight numbers, dates, and related information); a locale preference (cookie); technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations; and, for Pro subscribers, transaction metadata from our payment provider. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google. We never receive or store full card details.

3. How we use it. To provide the service: looking up your flights, rendering tracking pages, and sending service emails. To keep the service secure and reliable. To manage Pro billing. Flight numbers and dates you enter are sent to our flight-data provider to retrieve live flight information.

4. Legal bases. Performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in securing and operating the service; and consent where required.

5. Providers we rely on. Supabase (database and authentication), Google (sign-in), Vercel (hosting and CDN), Hetzner (backend hosting), AeroDataBox via RapidAPI (flight data), Resend (email delivery), Paddle (payments, as merchant of record), and Cloudflare (DNS, security, and email routing). We do not sell personal data, and Volari shows no ads.

6. Watchers. Viewing a shared trip does not require an account. Standard technical logs apply to all visits.

7. International transfers. Some providers process data outside the EEA. Where they do, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention. Account data is kept while your account exists; trips and logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted. You can request deletion at any time, subject to legal obligations.

9. Cookies. Volari uses essential cookies only: your authentication session and your locale preference. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. Your rights. You can request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or object to processing by contacting contact@flyvolari.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Children. Volari is not directed at children under 16.

12. Changes. We may update this policy; the current version is always published here.
